Questions

Do vendors need an account?
No. You paste emails. Each vendor gets a one-time link and uploads a COI, W-9, and license from a phone.
Do you call the insurance company?
No. v1 compares fields we extract from the files to rules you set. We do not verify coverage with carriers.
Is this insurance advice?
No. CanWork does not issue certificates, sell insurance, or guarantee coverage. You own the rules.
What is yellow?
Hard rules pass, but a policy expires in 30 days or less. Green means cleared to work today against your rules.
What files do you read?
ACORD 25 certificates of insurance, IRS W-9s, and contractor license PDFs or images. Source files stay on file.
California licenses?
If a CA license number is present we look it up on the public CSLB site. If the board is down, we degrade cleanly and still score the file.
